Go-Ahead For Historic Building To Become Flats

The go-ahead has been given to convert a historic building on Northampton Road in Market Harborough into flats.

Harborough District Council has granted planning permission for the work inside the grade two-listed building at the Springfield Street junction, which dates back to the 1860’s.

Developers plan to convert it into five flats.

The building has most recently been used as offices, although over the years was home to a Police Station, Magistrates’ Court, health spa and social club.
