A glider made an emergency landing into a corn field near Gartree Prison yesterday.
Fire crews from Market Harborough and Wigston were sent to the scene off Gallowfield Road at 1.15pm after reports the aircraft had crashed.
When they arrived the pilot confirmed he wasn’t injured.
