Further Blow To Bus Users

Market Harborough’s bus passengers are reeling from the news that yet another of our town’s key services is facing the axe – in just less than a month’s time!

HinckleyBus has announced that its number 58 route – which provides half a dozen journeys from Market Harborough to Lutterworth and back every day except Sunday – is to be withdrawn after the 14th of July.

This latest blow to bus users comes as a petition to save the at-risk Market Harborough town-and-around 33 service passes the 2,000 signature mark.

Harborough District Council’s opposition leader, Phil Knowles – who helped to organise this petition – says it’s very worrying, because these buses are a lifeline for many people.
