Free Saturday Parking For Festive Shoppers

There will be free parking in Market Harborough on Saturdays in the run-up to Christmas.

Harborough District Council will waive charges in its car parks on December 6th, 13th and 20th to encourage people to shop local and support town centre traders.

Drivers will be able to park for free for up to four hours in short-stay car parks, and all day in the long-stay ones.

The first free-parking day will coincide with Small Business Saturday, which promotes independent retailers.

The initiative will also run in Lutterworth, with free parking all day on each of the Saturdays.

To qualify for the free parking, you will need to register your car by entering your vehicle registration number or by obtaining a free parking session on the Pay by Phone App.
