Free Draught Excluders As Market Harborough Warm Homes Campaign Steps Up

A campaign in Market Harborough calling on the government to do more to help those struggling with energy costs is stepping up as winter approaches.
Hundreds of people have already signed a petition to support the ‘Market Harborough for Warm Homes’ campaign.
It is calling for more financial support for people facing unaffordable bills, a programme to better insulate homes and better plans to move away from fossil fuels to renewable energy.

Draught excluders have been hand-made to support the campaign
Those involved in the campaign will be running a stall in St Mary’s Place tomorrow to seek further support from locals.
Tim Claydon from Harborough Climate Action told HFM they will also be giving away free draught excluders, after over 80 were hand-made by the town’s WI and Morsbags group:
