The former Natwest bank in Market Harborough has been put up for sale for £350,000.

The branch closed last month and the building on St Mary’s Road, which was a bank for more than 100 years, is now on the market.

NatWest shut the branch in Market Harborough in January

The property comes complete with ‘a strong room’ and agents marketing it say: “The property is split across two floors, connected by an internal staircase.

“The ground floor comprises a main banking hall, consulting rooms, office space, store rooms and a strong room.

“The first floor comprises office space, storage and staff facilities. The principal access to the property is at the front, off St Marys Road and a secondary access is at the side of the property.

“The property benefits from a sizable car park, accommodating approximately 11 cars.”

Natwest blamed a reduction in in-person transactions for shutting the branch, saying counter transactions dropped by 64% in the past three years.
