Flytipping Across Harborough Falls For Third Year Running

Flytipping across Harborough has fallen for a third year running.
New figures show the District has bucked the national trend, by seeing a decrease in the past 12 months.
The number of incidents dealt with fell from 484 to 467.
Over the past three years the number has dropped by 35%.
Bosses say the fall is down to the on-going ‘Tip Off’ campaign – which has seen numerous fines handed out, with Council officers investigating every report of illegal dumping in a bid to find evidence as to where it came from.
