Firefighters Rescue Teenager Stuck 10 Metres Up Tree

Firefighters were called to an unusual rescue in Desborough after a teenager became stranded around 10 metres up a tree.

A crew from Desborough Fire Station attended High Street shortly before 4.45pm on Sunday after reports that a 13-year-old boy was stuck in a tree next to the Costa Coffee store.

A teenager became stranded around 10 metres up a tree.

Using a ladder, firefighters safely brought him back down to ground level.

Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service said the boy was checked over at the scene and was not injured.

The crew returned to the station after ensuring he was safely back on the ground.
