Firefighters Deal With Car Fire

A driver escaped uninjured after his car set of fire on the B664 towards Sutton Bassett early this morning.

Firefighters were called just before 3am and used breathing apparatus to put out the blaze, which left the Mercedes R Class severely damaged.

Police also attended to determine the reason the driver was out in the current lock-down restrictions.
