It is believed a fire which wrecked a unit at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground was started by a fault in an extraction system.

Ten fire crews battled the blaze in the building, used to paint spray vehicles.

It broke out at around 12.30pm on Saturday and left the building and vehicles inside badly damaged.
