Fire Station Unveil Striking Poppy Display

A striking poppy display has been unveiled outside Market Harborough Fire Station.

Dozens of woollen poppies and red handprints made by school children have been placed on the grass in front the Fairfield Road base, alongside a silhouette of a soldier.

Firefighter Adam Slater told HFM they wanted to do their bit to mark the Remembrance period:

The Royal British Legion in Market Harborough have praised staff at the fire station for creating the display.
