Tributes Paid to Popular Harborough Firefighter

Tributes are being paid to a popular Harborough firefighter who has died aged just 38.

Watch Manager Jon Partridge worked at Billesdon Fire Station and was also part of Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service’s Fire Prevention Team.

He had served his community for over 18 years and passed away on Monday (24th February) following a medical emergency.

The service has described his death as a ‘tragic loss’ and, as a mark of respect, flags are being flown at half-mast at fire stations across the county.
