Fire Crews Assist Ambulance Service

Fire crews were called to assist the Ambulance service dealing with an emergency at a house in Market Harborough today.

East Midlands Ambulance Service were called to a property on Fairway just before midday after a person had suffered a fall.
Fire crews from Market Harborough and the Southern fire stations were deployed to assist getting the patient safely out of the house before they were taken to hospital.
A spokesman for East Midlands Ambulance Service told Hfm: “We received a call at 11.46am this morning to a private address in Market Harborough to assist with a medical emergency. We sent two crewed ambulances and an incident support vehicle.”
