Fire At Former Mushroom Farm Started Deliberately
Written by HFM News on 25th May 2022
Arsonists started a fire which badly damaged buildings at a disused mushroom farm near Great Bowden overnight.
Four fire crews were called to Welham Road at 4.20am, together with an aerial platform ladder and water carrier.
Two large outbuildings were involved in the blaze and firefighters spent a number of hours dealing with the incident and damping down.
Both buildings were left badly damaged and an investigation determined the fire was started deliberately.
It is the second arson attack at the derelict site in eight months after another fire last September.
