Final Campaigning Before By-Election

It’s the final day of campaigning ahead of a by-election in Market Harborough tomorrow.

The poll in Harborough District Council’s Logan ward was triggered by the death of long-standing Liberal Democrat councillor Barbara Johnson in April.

Candidates representing six political parties and an independent are standing.

The candidates are:

Jonny Austin – Reform UK

Jake Bolton – Green Party

Paul Bremner – Conservative Party

Roger Dunton – Liberal Democrats

Bridget Fitzpatrick – Labour Party

Robin Lambert – Independent

Peter Whalen – Communist Party of Britain.

Residents in Logan ward can vote at the Octagonal Hall in Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church on Fairfield Road between 7am and 10pm tomorrow (Thursday) and are being reminded to take acceptable photo ID with them.
