Over £15,000 has so far been raised for charity after more than 300 tractors and other vehicles – all decorated for Christmas – toured Lutterworth and surrounding villages yesterday.
The Archer’s Festive Tractor Run was held in support of the Air Ambulance and Leicestershire’s MS Therapy Centre, with people who lined the streets to watch showing their support by donating on-line.
Farmers and others from across Harborough took part in the event.

Vicky Evans, Community Fundraising Executive at the Air ambulance said: “Our service is especially vital within the rural and agricultural communities due to our helicopter’s ability to reach patients quickly in remote locations, as well as our crews being able to deliver advanced pre-hospital emergency care on scene.”
“The support of the Archers Tractor Run – along with all our Leicestershire supporters – is so important to our charity as we receive no government or national lottery for our daily missions.”
