Farmers Market To Return To Harborough Next Week

A Market on The Square, Market Harborough
Market Harborough’s popular Farmer’s Market will return next Thursday.
Social distancing measures will be introduced on The Square, including fencing to create a one-in, one-out queuing system at entry and a revised layout.
Hand sanitiser stations will also be in place.
Shoppers will be asked not to touch produce without buying and are encouraged to pay by card.
The monthly event has been suspended since March because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Cllr Phil King, Leader of Harborough District Council, said: “I am really pleased that we are able to run the Farmers Market again, supporting our local producers and their customers. We have introduced a number of measures to ensure that the market will be a safe space so that the public feel confident to come out and support the traders.”
