Evan’s Big Hair Cut To Help Children With Cancer

A 10-year-old from Desborough is preparing to lose his hair to help children with cancer after growing it for four years.
Evan Cockerill will donate his hair to The Little Princess Trust, which provides real hair wigs – free of charge – to youngsters who lose their own hair during treatment.
The Havelock Junior School pupil has also raised over £1,000 in sponsorship to pay for the wig to be made and further support the charity.
Evan told HFM why he wanted to do it and how grateful he is for the support:

Evan has raised money through an on-line fundraising page and has also gone door-to-door around his neighbourhood to seek donations.
The big cut will take place at the end of this month at Head Candy in Market Harborough.
