EV Festival Comes to Harborough

Residents in the Harborough District who’re thinking of making the switch to all-electric driving have a major annual showcase right on our doorstep this weekend.
On Sunday 28th April the ‘Electric Vehicles Festival 2024’ is being staged at Stanford Hall near Lutterworth for the first time – with hundreds of current owners displaying their cars and on hand to answer questions from visitors about their own EV experiences.
The event will also be hosting the very latest all-electric cars, vans, bikes and even boats – and the entry cost even includes Tesla test drives into the local countryside, tours of the historic hall itself, and seeing some classic cars which have been converted to run on electricity.

Paul adds that the picturesque and relaxed environment of Stanford Hall should be perfect for chatting informally to existing EV drivers about the switch to electric…
Also at the event is a “live” stage featuring presentations by motoring experts such as Steve Fowler and Jonny Smith. Jonny told HFM he thinks some drivers’ strong opposition to trying out an electric vehicle is rather odd…
