Drugs Courier Jailed After Dumping Huge Haul Of Cannabis

A drugs courier who dumped a huge haul of cannabis in a country lane near Lutterworth has been jailed for 13 months.
Stavros Tsigkos, 30, was being pursued by Police from the M1 last July and turned down the single-track road near Misterton to get rid of the drugs, which had a potential street value of about £200,000.
A passer-by saw him and alerted officers.
Tsigkos, of Christopher Road, Woodhouse, Leeds, pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis with intent to supply at Leicester Crown Court.
