Drug-Driver Banned After Seven-Car Crash

A man who caused a seven-car crash in Market Harborough while under the influence of cocaine has been banned from driving for 20 months.

Gary McBean was arrested following the collision in Bath Street on February 6th this year, during which the Ford Focus he was driving collided with six cars – some of which were parked.

The crash happened on Bath Street

The drivers of two of the cars involved suffered minor injuries and were checked-over at the scene by East Midlands Ambulance Service.

McBean, 48, of Huntly Drove in Peterborough, pleaded guilty to drug-driving at Leicester Magistrates Court and was also fined £100.
