Drivers Warned Of Overnight Closure On A6

Drivers are being warned the A6 through Kibworth will be shut from this evening for nine nights so carriageway repairs can take place.
The closure will be in force between 8pm and 6am until Friday and then from the following Monday until Thursday August 8th.
It will affect the stretch of the A6 along Harborough Road and Leicester Road, with parking restrictions also to be put in place.
The A6 will be closed in Kibworth
Leicestershire County Council will be carrying out the work in three phases and is also warning residents there will be some noise disruption.
During the closure, traffic will be diverted via the B6047, through Tur Langton into Kibworth and vice-versa.
