Steven Michael Gaskell appeared at Northampton Crown Court today via videolink from prison and pleaded guilty to causing death while driving disqualified and with no insurance.

The 30-year-old, of King Street in Kettering, also admitted supplying cannabis between April and September this year.

Courtney’s family described her as a ‘fun-loving girl and fantastic mummy’ to her young daughter Lily-Mae when they paid tribute to her following the crash.

Gaskell was remanded back into custody and will be sentenced in the new year.

Floral tributes were placed beside the A427 where the crash happened
