Discarded smoking materials are thought to have caused a large fire near Kibworth Harcourt yesterday.
Over 3,000 litres of oil and waste were involved in the blaze in an outbuilding near Paddocks Farm, just off the A6.

Three fire crews were called to tackle the flames just before 3.15pm and a warning was issued for nearby residents to keep windows and doors closed due to the heavy smoke.
A re-inspection of the site was carried out this morning and a spokesperson for Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental, due to discarded smoking materials.”
No-one was injured and the fire service added the Environment Agency has been contacted in relation to the incident.
