Dangerous Parking Clampdown Extended

A clampdown on dangerous parking outside schools has been extended.
Kibworth Primary School and St Cuthbert’s Primary in Great Glen are among 21 across Leicestershire to this week join the ‘School Keep Clear’ scheme, that was launched last year in bid to boost childrens’ safety.
It uses a camera car to patrol at the start and end of the school day to catch people parking dangerously and illegally.

Some other local schools are also part of it – two £70 fixed penalty notices were issued to drivers outside Meadowdale Primary School last month.
