Dad Of Spar ATM Raider Jailed

The father of one of the gang who stole the ATM from at the Spar Shop in Market Harborough has been jailed.
Derek Hall hid more than a hundred thousand pounds brought to him by his son in a toilet cistern and in the hood of the oven at his home in Derbyshire.

Leicester Crown Court heard that was some of the cash stolen during a series of raids at shops across the East Midlands in 2017, including the one at the Coventry Road store in October of that year.
The 63 year old has admitted charges of concealing and converting criminal property and been jailed for three years and three months.
His son and two other members of the gang were sent down for a total of almost 30 years last month.
