Construction Workers Give Great Bowden School A Big Makeover

A team of construction workers have given Great Bowden Academy a makeover in time for pupils returning after their summer break.

15 members of staff from housebuilder Cora gave up their time to paint corridors, offices and toilets at the school and even got round to repairing part of the roof.

They also transformed a storage area into a new library for the children.

All the labour and materials needed were provided for free.

Cora have recently built new homes in the village and assistant site manager Josh Stanley told HFM they wanted to give something back to the community:
