Concerns Over Rural Crime

Rural crime cost Leicestershire more than £1.4m last year, making it the tenth worst hit county in the UK.
That’s a rise of 36.9% on 2017, according to NFU Mutual.
The items most commonly targeted by thieves across the Midlands over the last 12 months were tools, ATVs/quads and machinery.
The insurer’s warning it’s leading to rising anxiety within the farming community.
