Concern For Harborough Jobs As Wilko Collapses Into Adminstration

There are increasing fears of job losses in Market Harborough after Wilko collapsed into administration.
It comes after efforts to secure a rescue deal for the homeware retailer failed.
12,000 jobs are at risk at the retailer, which has more than 400 stores across the UK, including in St Mary’s Place.

Wilko’s Chief Executive says they were left with “no choice” but to appoint administrators from PwC.
