Organisers of the Leicester Comedy Festival have hailed events held in Market Harborough over the weekend a success.

The Indoor Market was turned into a theatre as part of the ‘Big Weekend’ that included a performance of the Edinburgh Fringe hit ‘Dad’s Army Radio Show’ on Saturday night.

Last night an evening of contemporary comedy was staged there.

Other events were held at the Library and Museum, Harborough Theatre and the Beerhouse pub, with big turnouts at all of them.
