‘Climate Emergency’ Call

A call will be made next week for Leicestershire County Council to declare a Climate Emergency.
If backed by members, it would mean the Authority following others up and down the country, in pledging to do more to tackle climate change and work towards being carbon neutral by 2030.
A protest was held outside Harborough Council in March calling for the same action.
