Clampdown On Illegal Drivers Sees 18 Vehicles Seized In Six Weeks

Police are continuing to target illegal drivers by seizing an average of three vehicles a week on roads across the Harborough District.

18 have so far been towed away this year, after officers found people behind the wheel who were not insured, or had no driving licence – all of which were reported for prosecution.

Others were seized because they were suspected of being used to commit crime and had been stolen.
