Celebrations At Museum!

It’s five years since Harborough Museum re-opened in the Symington Building in Market Harborough and today events to celebrate the anniversary are taking place.
Collections Engagement Officer, Sarah Nicol has been giving special talks on the collections and a new picture trail has been launched, telling visitors more about the large historic images of Market Harborough and the surrounding area on display throughout building on Adam and Eve Street.

Since the re-opening, new education sessions have been launched, together with many community-led displays, showcasing donations including from the Fire Station.
The Museum, best known for the Hallaton Treasure displays, is run by Leicestershire County Council, Harborough Council and a dedicated team of volunteers.
