Car Overturns On B6047

A driver was taken to hospital after their car overturned onto its roof on the B6047 near Shangton this morning.

Emergency services were called at 8.15am to Melton Road, close to the junction with Main Street.

The female driver was able to get out of the Ford Fiesta and was treated at the scene by paramedics, before being taken to Kettering General Hospital, with injuries described as ‘minor’ by Police, who say no other vehicles were involved.

The road was initially shut in both directions.
