Car Crashes Into Tree On A47 In Thurnby

Police say no-one was seriously injured after a car crashed into a tree on the A47 in Thurnby this morning.
Emergency services, including Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service and East Midlands Ambulance Service, were called to Uppingham Road at 9.45am.
Just one vehicle was involved in the collision near the Station Road junction and a Police spokesperson told HFM no serious injuries have been reported.
The road was shut in both directions until just after 12.20pm.
