Call For Support As ‘Love Your Local Market’ Campaign Begins

Shoppers are being encouraged to visit Harborough Market as part of a national campaign leading up to The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
‘Love Your Local Market’ runs until June 5th, with the indoor market hosting various events and activities.

Cllr Phil King, Leader of Harborough District Council, said: “This is a celebration of the market and all that it has to offer, and we’ll share more information over the coming days.
“There’ll be something for everyone, and I hope people go along and support the traders and enjoy the activities during Love Your Local Market, and during the Jubilee weekend.”
The monthly Farmers Market on The Square on June 2nd will also see an array of Jubilee themed products on sale.
