Burglary Suspect Sent Back To Prison

A Market Harborough man arrested in connection with a spate of burglaries has been sent back to prison.

The 47-year-old was wanted on recall, for breaching the terms of his licence, following his release in July after serving over three years for burglary offences.

Officers have questioned him about four break-ins in Corby last month, during which a number of items were stolen, including jewellery, although no charges have yet been brought.

PC Simon Greener from Northamptonshire Police said: “Everyone deserves to feel safe in their home and that is why tackling burglaries is such a top priority for this Force.

“This burglary series was rightly causing concern among the local community in Corby so I hope this arrest goes some way in reassuring them we are taking this issue very seriously in order to bring the offender to justice.”
