Burglars Raid Kibworth Shop
Written by HFM News on 3rd January 2019
Four masked burglars forced their way into a shop in Kibworth late last night before stealing a large quantity of cigarettes worth thousands of pounds.
The men – one armed with a large crowbar – struck at the Premier Convenience Store on Fleckney Road just before 11pm after smashing through the front door.
They activated the security smoke-cloak system in the shop, which led to firefighters being called amid fears the premises was on fire.

Police say no-one was injured in the incident and enquiries to identify who was responsible are continuing.
In October there was a failed armed robbery at the same shop, when staff were threatened by a man with a knife.
