Break-In At Harborough Leisure Centre

Police are appealing for information about a burglary at Harborough Leisure Centre.

A window in the front door was smashed and the premises entered at around 4am yesterday, although nothing was stolen.

Officers are looking into the possibility the break-in was committed by the same person who burgled The Waterfront restaurant on Union Wharf around half an hour later.

A till containing a small amount of cash was stolen after someone smashed a door window to get into the premises.

Anyone with information about either burglary is urged to call Leicestershire Police.
