Boys Use Catapult To Smash ‘Numerous’ Windows In Braybrooke

A group of boys used a catapult to smash windows at houses and a church in Braybrooke by firing stones at them.

Homes in Newland Street, Griffin Close, Mapletoft Close and Latymer Close were among those targeted, along with the Baptist Church.

The damage was caused between 6pm and 11pm last Tuesday and Police are appealing for information.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police told HFM: “We received reports from numerous places in the area regarding a group of boys who were using a catapult to project stones into windows.

“Numerous windows were damaged as a result.”

“No arrests have been made yet but we are progressing enquiries and anyone with any info who we’ve not yet spoken to should contact us using reference number 22000450525.”
