A bench in Market Harborough town centre is to be dedicated to the memory of a much-loved street cleaner.
Billy Kimpton started working for the council when he left school in the early 1970’s aged 16, and kept the streets clean until his retirement 30 years later.
He died in October aged 73 and is remembered for his upbeat and cheerful attitude.
