Attempted Burglary At Market Harborough Supermarket

Police are investigating an attempted burglary at a supermarket in Market Harborough early this morning.
The would-be intruder or intruders used a concrete block to try and smash through a window at the entrance to Co-Op in the Commons Car Park just after 3am.

The window was damaged, but no entry was gained to the store.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police told HFM: “Police received a call at 3.12am today (Tuesday) reporting an attempted break in at a premises in Coventry Road, Market Harborough.
“No-one was reported to be on the premises at the time of the call.”
Witnesses or anyone with information is urged to call Police on 101.
