ATM Raiders’ Ill-Gotten Gains To Be Sold On Ebay

A gang who lived the high life following a series of cash machine raids will see their cars, jewellery and other luxury goods sold by Leicestershire Police on eBay.

The trio stole more than 1.5 million pounds during a crime-wave during 2017, including blowing the ATM out of the wall at Lutterworth Post Office, before being caught and jailed.

BMW and Mercedes cars worth an estimated £50,000 were seized by Police as well as designer clothing and Rolex watches.

Other items seized from the gang

Cash generated by the sales, made possible under the Proceeds of Crime Act, will be distributed between victims’ groups and further efforts by the police and courts to pursue organised crime gangs.
