Arts Fresco Returns To Market Harborough This Sunday
Written by HFM News on 8th September 2023
One of the biggest free street theatre festivals in the UK takes place in Market Harborough on Sunday.
Arts Fresco will see a host of performances from some of the county’s best acts across the town centre, which will be closed to traffic for the day.
The popular event, now in its 21st year, is on from 11am until 4pm.

Arts Fresco is organised by a dedicated team of volunteers and despite efforts to obtain funding and the generosity of sponsors, they are around £12,000 short this year, meaning they will have to cover the shortfall from reserves.
Neil Kitson, chair of the organising committee spoke to HFM’s Nick Shaw about what is in store this year and how visitors will be urged to give to bucket collections if they can:

If you’re in Market Harborough tomorrow (Sat) look out for the Un-naturalists (pictured above), who will be hosting a free hysterical historical tour of the town at 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm.
