Written by on 11th June 2021

Arsonists set fire to a large amount of rubbish twice in three hours in Desborough last night.

Firefighters were first called to deal with the blaze at the side of Back Lane at 6.10pm and were called back just after 9pm.

Items which had been dumped at the side of the road, including Plasterboard, guttering and a fridge freezer, were deliberately set on fire.

Crews from Desborough and Rothwell worked to extinguish the fire and prevent it spreading to adjoining land.
