Arrests After Loaded Double-Barreled Shotgun Found In Car

Two people have been charged after Police found a loaded double-barreled shotgun, knives and other weapons in a car stopped at the Rothwell Service Station on the A14.

Daniel Mills, 36, from Irthlingborough, Northants, is accused of possession of a firearm and a 17 year old boy was charged with possession of a firearm, with intent to cause fear of violence, and a bladed article.

Two other teenagers – aged 17 and 18 – also arrested have been bailed pending further enquiries.

They were all in a car stopped in the early hours of Wednesday.
