Arrest After Woman’s Death In Market Harborough

Police are investigating the death of a woman in Market Harborough.
Officers were called to an address in Andrew Macdonald Close on Friday morning and later arrested a woman on suspicion of a drugs offence, as part of their on-going enquiries.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police told HFM: “Just after 7.45am on Friday (22 August) police were called to an address in Andrew Macdonald Close, Market Harborough following a report a woman had died.
“Following further enquiries, a 21-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cocaine. She has since been released under investigation.
“The woman’s death is being treated as unexplained and an investigation is continuing.”
