Armistice Day To Be Marked In Market Harborough

Armistice Day will be marked in Market Harborough town centre later this morning.

A ceremony will be held at the gates to the Memorial Gardens ahead of 11am when a two-minute silence will be observed, the start and end to be signaled by the firing of a maroon.

The WW1 ‘Tommy’ soldier beside the War Memorial on The Square

It will follow events in and around the town yesterday for Remembrance Sunday,
