Appeal For Information After Cat Found Dead
Written by HFM News on 12th March 2021
The owner of cat found dead in Market Harborough has been told her beloved pet may have been attacked by a group of people.
Buddy, who was six months old, was discovered with a broken tooth and abrasions to his rear leg, outside a house in Bath Street, on Saturday morning.
Residents have reported hearing cat noises and people in that area late on Friday night.
Buddy’s owner has been left devastated by his death, as she adopted him as a kitten, together with his mother and sister, when they appeared on her doorstep last year.
She is appealing for information about what happened and asking people with home CCTV in the area to review footage, in case anything was captured.
The matter has been reported to the RSCPA and Police have also been contacted.
The owner is thanking everyone who helped when Buddy was found on Saturday and to staff at Town and Country Vets, where he was initially taken.
