Appeal For Help As Foodbank Runs Low On Stock
Written by HFM News on 19th April 2021
Market Harborough’s Jubilee Foodbank is running low on certain items and is appealing for the public’s help.
The voluntary service continues to be in great demand, including helping individuals and families who have fallen into food poverty, because of the impact of the pandemic on their finances.
Items needed are:
- Cartons of long life semi-skimmed milk
- Tinned Meat / Chicken
- Instant Mash Potato sachets
- Porridge Oats
- Tins of Ham or Spam
- Sandwich Paste
- Tinned Vegetables (potatoes, carrots, sweetcorn, peas)
- Small bags of sugar
- Crackers
- Soap
Volunteers who run the foodbank say they really appreciate people’s continued support, as they continue to look to offer a balanced food parcel for those they help.
You can donate items at the Eco Village, St Mary’s Road, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, both Coop supermarkets and B&M in Market Harborough.
